2013 Culture Night

Avani's elementary school recently put on a culture show.  To showcase the Indian culture, Avani and her friends (Navya, Nitya, Reva and Shristi) preformed a dance for it. They danced to the song Navrai Majhi, from the Bollywood movie English Vinglish.  It was choreographed by her dance teacher, Lopa ( Lopa's Creative and Bollywood Dance).  The girls did an amazing job!

Of course, before the dance, Divya saw Avani getting ready...so she had to dress up too!

First Dance Performance

So, I am creating this blog to post some of Avani's more creative items, artwork, cooking, and dancing.  I feel that, for a little while anyways, she will want to capture these moments but who knows how long that will last...

Anyways, here is the first dance that she ever performed. She did this dance at the age of 4 for her Annop Mama's engagement ceremony.
